Announcing our Bimonthly Magazine

Sharon and I have been working on starting our own magazine to share information with our members.

Our magazine will cover a wide variety of subjects. From some simple techniques that Sharon would like to share to explaining how you can use some of our more over looked classes.

We would also like to have user submitted articles. Anything from stories about a trip or if you just placed in your first competition and you want to share your experience with us and our members. If you would like to submit an article to be published please email us at Neil@SharonSchamberNetwork.com.

In the first edition we will be doing a Q&A with Sharon with questions submitted from our members. If you have any questions that you have always wanted to know please post in this thread on our forums.

Q&A Thread in our Forums

We will be compensating any published articles from our members with either a three month free membership or three dvd's from our collection of classes.

The Magazine will replace the newsletter for that month. So there is no need to sign up for anything extra.

Look for our first Magazine around October 15th.

A public service announcement from Sharon

A few months ago we released one of our longarm classes "Longarm Stipple: The Spirit of Mother Earth Episode 6". There were no problems shooting the class or with any of the quilting. A month later Sharon was getting the piece ready to send with Cristy to a show for a display piece. In the process of washing the small block Sharon discovered that she had accidently used water soluble thread in her bobbin case.

The lesson to be learned here is to make sure you check your thread before you use it.

On the left you can see the top of the block after it was washed and on the right is the back.

Sharon's New Masterpiece: Mystique

We are proud to announce that Sharon's newest quilt has been accepted into the Houston Quilt Festival this year. We are crossing our fingers for another great show this year. Here are a few pictures of the quilt.

My personal favorite thing on this quilt is all the amazing cording. Each section is held to the other with cording. You can see it very well in the two enlarged images on the top.
